Winter... cold weather... the magic of snow and frost

This is the time of year that the Bladder and Kidney meridians (energy channels) might need an extra boost through a Shiatsu treatment. The meridians are associated with the season of winter and if there is an imbalance within those meridians this season can be impossible to cope with.

The Mysterious Power of Shiatsu

Shiatsu can help to balance the energies of the Bladder and Kidney meridians. Symptoms which might have got aggravated in the cold weather can be eased.
This is the time of year to be snuggled cozy and warm, to conserve one's energies and to have nourishing, hot cooked, warming foods. Black and white pepper, ginger, garlic, cayenne and chili peppers are particularly warming.
Winter is the season when the energy in nature gathers inwards and stays dormant in readiness for rebirth in the spring.
